2009 Under 10 Football

Sarah Conroy & Choppers Cullen Cups

Well done to all involved in today's Sarah Conroy and Choppers Cullen under 8 football tournaments, players, mentors and parents.

Our lads made the final but were beaten by Naomh Eanna who claimed the Sarah Conroy Cup while Davidstown won the Choppers Cullen Cup.

U10 Duffry Tournament Oct 3

Unfortunately, our U/10s also suffered defeat in the Duffry Rovers Tournament being beaten by a single point by the Duffry in the final but doing remarkably well winning all their games to get there.

Look out for our own Sarah Conroy/Tim Choppers Cullen U/8 Football Tournament coming up in the next couple of weeks and the Martin Doyle U/10 Hurling Tournament which will be played over the Bank Holiday weekend culminating in a Halloween Party for all our U/8s, U/10s and U/12s.

Starlights 1-4 St Martins 2-5

Hard luck to the under 10 footballers who put in a fine display and were very unfortunate to go down to the Martins tonight in the semi final of the Brendan Redmond tournament. We not go into the Shield tournament.
