With ace striker Willie Hudson in excellent form our Senior footballers had a relatively comfortable passage to the final, the artful Tommy Tucker Foley and Ricky Fox looking dangerous in attach and powerhouses James Carty and Jason Russell commanding lar na pairce, and the youthful Joe Cullen confident and strong in the full back position ably assisted by Tom Wall/Cathal Murphy/and Davy Speedy Morrissey in defence we ended the first half strong 1.4 to 2 points and began the second period with passion and a determination to kill off the opposition which worked well with Adamstown getting their goal towards the end of the encounter. Well done to the lads and their mentors the only pity is that the Stars are not still in the Championship proper!
