The icing on the cake this week was most definitely our 3rd win in the Senior hurling Championship making it 3 out of 3 for the Rapps and putting them through to the quarter finals. It wasn't just the victory over Glynn/Barntown in Wexford Park on Saturday evening that gladdened our hearts and put smiles on many of the faces at Bellefield but rather the manner in which the lads hurled and kept hurling til the final whistle.

A most disappointing start to our week with our U/21 hurlers going out of the Championship in the second round being beaten by Shelmaliers 1.14 to 12 points.

Hard luck to the Under 21 hurlers who were beaten on Monday night in Ferns by the Shels. We conceded a late goal to hand the opposition a 5 point win but it's probably fair to say the bext team won.

Unfortunately, our Senior hurlers were not able to emulate the U/21s in the League semi final last Tuesday – in the Shamrocks pitch and our thanks to the Shamrocks for making their venue available for this game.
