  St Annes 1-16 rapparess 1-16

Our Senior Hurlers drew with St. Annes in a sun drenched Rathangan on Saturday evening last after a see-saw game which saw the sides level on many occasions throughout and finishing level on 1-16 each.

Well done to the young Barry Baz Nolan getting two fine points from play and the stylish Tommy Tucker Foley netting 1-1, the very accurate Tomas Mossy Mahon displayed some of his skills scoring the frees and notching up a total of 8 points, Ricky Fox who came on for Joe Cullen got his name on the board shortly after his introduction, a lovely long distance point came from half back Eoin Quigley and two well taken shots from Adrian Fenlon went over the bar at a critical time early in the second period and a final point from James Peare completed our tally.

With all our backs hurling well only a couple of points separated the teams at any stage in the game and to be fair a draw was the fairest result and possibly enough to put us through to the League semis.
