Unfortunately, our Senior hurlers were not able to emulate the U/21s in the League semi final last Tuesday – in the Shamrocks pitch and our thanks to the Shamrocks for making their venue available for this game.

Our Seniors began well and after a reasonable first half were only trailing by 2 points at 7 points to 9 - however they never seemed to get back into the game after the recess only managing a goal and a point in the entire second period compared with Oularts 12 points.

Some very good saves from our goalkeeper Fran O`Gorman denying them goals to add to their tally. Final score of 21points to 1.8 put Oulart through to the League Final on Sunday in Wexford Park against Rathnure.
