Shelmaliers 2-12  Rapparees 0-8

Our Junior hurlers were unlucky to lose two players through injury in the first half of their encounter against the Shelmaliers on Sunday evening and in the absence of subs Manager Tomas McVeigh had to take the field himself for the second period and despite acquitting himself well wasn’t able to turn the tide the final score  - 8 points to 2.12.

Lovely to see some of our young guns featuring at this level and brothers Fran and Paudie O`Gorman hurling together for the first time – Lee Treacy, Diarmuid Cullen and John James Dunne all doing well.
