Monageer-Boolavogue 2-9 Rapparees  3-10

The Junior B`s provided the entertainment this week and they beat Monageer 3.10 to 2.9 in Monageer in the Championship on Friday evening last.

Once again our wonderful blend of youth and experience worked splendidly with the more mature players like Padraig Doyle, Padraig Hall, Tomas McVeigh, Tony Boland, DJ O`Shea and Adrian Kirwan providing the solid hurling and a lot of the hard work and then the younger guns like Patrick Quigley, MJ Doyle, Ger Foley, Brian Ronan, John Higginsand Paul Byrne adding the sparkle and the speed and indeed some lovely taken scores.

As a selector with this team can I express my sincere thanks to all who showed up for the fixture it was a pleasure if indeed a novelty for us to pick a team from 23 players instead of the usual 15!.
