Our U/14 hurlers were beaten in their semi final by St. Martins in Fethard last Saturday the 4th.

Our lads held out for a draw last night under severe pressure from Fethard. Well done lads, fighting spirit is half the battle!

Rapparees 5-11 St Martins 3-8

The under 14 hurlers had a good win last night against St Martins in Bellefield. It was a tight encounter for long stretches but our lads dominated the second half to come out on top.

This comes some measure of comfort for the defeat we suffered at the hands of the same opposition in the Slaney Hurling Festival final but I have no doubt we will encounter them again in the latter stages of the championship.

Our Under 14 footballers did themselves and us proud winning all their games in Feile Peil over the weekend to qualify for the Final against Fethard in Wexford Park on Saturday next. Well done to all the lads and their mentors and good luck in the final from all at Bellefield.
