More often than not a replay is usually a poor sequel to a drawn game but this certainly couldn’t be said about the spectatular Juvenile Football Final Replay at St. Patricks Park on Friday night last.

Another close encounter with all the skills, all the thrills and all the passion – it was truly another great game of football to watch and full credit must go to both sides for the marvellous entertainment provided.

Once again it would do you good to be there and would certainly set your heart racing. Our Stars shone brightest in the end but the 6 point difference at the final whistle doesn’t do justice to the extremely tight , hard fought battle between these two extremely good football teams.

Well done Starlights and thank you and well done to all your parents and your mentors.

What a talented bunch of young players here – some of them now with 3 county U/16 medals in a row and definitely ones to keep an eye out for in the future.
