Our Junior B`s weren't just able to go all the way, beaten in the county semi final on Saturday in Bree by Cushinstown by the very narrowest of margins 11pts to 12.

A tough way to exit the championship lads and a hard lesson to learn – we started too slow and too easy – you have to hurl for the full hour for success but in fairness we came back well in the second half and fought to the bitter end to try to eek out the victory.

But we had left ourselves with too much to do and ran out of chances and out of time but a good battle lads to the end and with a lot of Minors on this panel a lot of valuable experience has been earned over the season and that is never a burden to carry and should stand to them in the future.
