On Monday 12th September the Rapparees/Starlights Social Initiative Mens Group set off on yet another outing as they headed southward towards New Ross for an historic and cultural afternoon taking in the Dunbrody experience followed by a relaxing River Cruise on the Galley. |

The Social Initiative Mens Group experienced yet another first on Tuesday last as the RTE Nationwide team came to Bellefield to do a feature on their activities and events to date. Our new Stars, who are getting more publicity than Beckham at the moment, entertained the Nationwide team for more than 4 hours at their weekly Tuesday morning session. |

 Four members of the Bellefield GAA Social Initiative Mens Group were treated to a day in the sun recently, that will live in their memories forever, as they came together with clubs from all over the country at Aras an Uachtaran as guests of President Mary McAleese and her husband Martin. |

 The Bellefield Social Initiative Mens Group mustered themselves once again and headed last Friday to Bloom - the annual June Bank Holiday Garden Festival at the Phoenix Park and might I be excused for saying had a blooming good time amid the food and the flora of this florid occasion. This year the Garden Festival was bigger and better than ever, spread over 70 acres of the picturesque Phoenix Park incorporating 27 Show Gardens, 400 Exhibitors, 22 Cookery Demonstrations, 35 Garden Expert talks, 49 Artisan Food Traders, and 10 Micro Breweries. No excuse here for anyone to be bored, hungry, thirsty or indeed uninformed, if you were up for it, there was something for everyone. |
