The format of the Championships for 2010 had been mentioned at various gatherings at the end of last year and there seemed to have been a consensus for change. This also was the view from the findings of the Strategic Report.
As a follow up we have drawn up a draft fixtures proposal which will be presented and explained in detail at a special County Board meeting this coming Thursday night
Jan 21st in the Riverside Park Hotel Ferrycarrig Hotel @ 7.30pm. This proposal will then be emailed to all clubs to be presented to their members.
Should clubs wish to submit different proposals they will have until Thursday January 28th to do so. Any additional proposals received will be emailed to clubs
the following day.
Both the proposed draft fixtures plan and any additional motions received will be put before the County Board on Wednesday Feb 3rd to decide the format of Championships/Leagues
for 2010.
The Chairman, Secretary, Co Board Rep and any player or other member who may wish to attend the meetings are invited to attend.
Apologies for the short notice of the meeting this Thursday but due to weather conditions it was not feasible to have it any earlier.
Please inform all the necessary people in your club as they have not been informed by text.
