Carlow Town 11 a side Hurling

Carlow Town Hurling Club, for thirteen years(1990-2003) held its Senior 'Elevens' with great success and gave rise to great spectacles of club hurling year on year with some prestigious winners. Roll of Honour for this competition include:

We, now, wish to revive the competition in the form of a Eleven-a-side Junior Grade Blitz, applicable only to Registered Junior Teams & Players.

It will be held in the same format, with 40 teams, on the coming August Bank Holiday Weekend, Saturday 31st July, 2010.

CARLOW TOWN ALL-IRELAND ELEVENS JUNIOR HURLING BLITZ

August Bank Holiday Weekend: SATURDAY 31st JULY, 2010.

I have been directed by my Club to provide you with application form for theabove Blitz.

Please note the following details:-

1. This is a 1 day event commencing at 10.30a.m.

2. The Blitz will be organised with eight Groups – with four teams in each

Groups.

3. “Senior” status Clubs from the weaker Counties of Kildare, Carlow, Wicklow,

Westmeath, Roscommon, Mayo, Meath, Kerry, Antrim, Down, Armagh are

permitted to participate.

4.      Official Party is 19 (16 players + 3 adults).Main meal included for Official Party.

5.      Blitz is limited to 32 teams on a “first come, first served basis”.

6.      Entry fee is EURO 300.00

7.      Closing date for completed Application Forms will be Friday 16th July, 2010.

8.      Before entering, Clubs should ensure proper clearance from their Divisional
