2011 Pudding Run

There was a tremendous turnout on St. Stephens morning for the 4th annual Michael Foley Bursary Fund Pudding Run. This novel idea has captured the imagination and over 100 people came out to show their support and to join in the fun of the pudding run. The large crowd gathered at Bellefield GAA Complex and set off for their 10k trek when chief organiser Phil Kearney gave the signal. Declan Ivers defended his title well being the first runner home with Seanie O`Gorman close on his heels as the first teenager back and Elaine McCabe the first lady and Dillon McVeigh the first child.

The Wexford Senior Footballers will take on the Wexford Youths in Ferrycarrig Park on Wednesday December 28th at 2pm. The proceeds of the soccer match will be shared by both teams as they prepare for another year in their respective competitions. The event is a great opportunity for families to meet some of their local sporting heroes on what promises to be a very entertaining day out. Tickets for the game are priced at €10, while it will cost students and OAPs only €5 and kids under 12 can enjoy the game for free.

Michael Foley Pudding Run 2011

The 4th Annual Pudding Run in aid of the Michael Foley Bursary Fund will take place on St. Stephens Day Monday 26th December 2011. Runners and Walkers are asked to gather at Bellefield GAA Complex at 11am to set out on their 10K trek when Chief Organiser Philip Kearney gives the signal. Each year since the untimely death of the much loved and respected Michael Foley, his family, friends and sporting associates have come together for this novel event in his memory. The 10K trek raises money for the Bursary Fund which is used by Enniscorthy CBS - Michael`s Alma Mater - to help 2 deserving students make it financially through their first year in College.
